Adam Ant is the Blueblack Hussar in Marrying the Gunners Daughter

"I'm alright! I'm back to normal. I'm excited by my work. The definitions of bipolar disorder are – look it up – sexually promiscuous, dressing up funny, behaving in an unusual manner, spending lots of money erratically, and just generally being a nutcase. Well, I don't know a fucking good rock 'n' roller who doesn't fit all the criteria, so lock everybody up! Lock Keith Moon, Pete Townshend, Jimi Hendrix... who would you not lock up? Cliff, maybe? I'm serious. People don't know anything about mental illness. It's bipolar disorder."

Videos from the recent gigs...

Adam recently did two concerts as part of the (deep breath) Good the Mad and the Lovely world tour of London. Firstly, he returned to the Electric Ballroom after 30 years! Sadly, he got into a verbal fight with a heckler and stormed off (although at the next gig he joked "someone got a bit punky and i had to threatem him with an anchor..."). However, he did perform 27 songs, take that Coldplay! Gasping for air and grabbing their Buxton after 9 songs...

Here's B SIDE BABY! And Adam gets something out that hasnt seen the light of day in a very long time.

The week after he performed at the Relentless Garage (originally announced for the HMV forum, but with a £50 ticket price, it's not surprising it was downsized!). The gig was perfect, raw, punky, exciting and the setlist incredible! Who would've thought this time last year that Adam would be back on stage performing songs like Scorpio Rising and Why Do Girls LIke Horses??!

Here's a few videos:
